Titles

Titles are cosmetic honours displayed next to your name in all game interfaces. They signal your achievements, experience, and dedication to other players. Some are trivial to earn; a few are among the rarest accomplishments in Aeternum.

LAST UPDATED: APRIL 2026

1. Title System

Titles are earned by completing specific in-game milestones — defeating enough enemies, winning PvP matches, reaching level caps, or completing unique achievements. Once earned, a title is permanently added to your collection and can be equipped or swapped at any time from Settings → Profile → Title.

Titles come in five rarities that reflect how difficult they are to earn:

  • Common — earned through basic early-game milestones
  • Uncommon — requires consistent play over days or weeks
  • Rare — demands significant time investment or skill
  • Epic — hard endgame accomplishments, few players hold these
  • Legendary — among the most exclusive titles in the game

TIP

Titles provide no stat bonuses — they are purely cosmetic. However, certain Legendary titles grant access to exclusive chat colours and profile border frames not available anywhere else.

Prestige titles are the most respected cosmetics in the game. A player wearing The Undying has essentially completed the game twice — once per race at maximum Prestige. This title is visible in all menus, combat logs, and PvP interfaces.

7. The Rarest Titles

These titles are held by fewer than 1% of players and represent extraordinary accomplishments:

  • The Undying — 10 Prestige resets (5 per race). Fewer than 50 players hold this at any time.
  • The Immortal — Floor 100 of the Infinity Tower. Solo only; no deaths allowed in that run.
  • Grand Warlord — 5 consecutive Clan War victories as the leader. Requires a top-tier organised clan.
  • Anniversary Hero — Only available during the 1st Anniversary event window. Permanently retired after the event ended. Cannot be earned today.
  • Dragon Slayer — Requires defeating the Mountain Dragon, which becomes available only when a server-wide quest chain is completed by the community. Happens approximately twice per year.

TIP

If you see a player with Anniversary Hero or The Immortal, you are looking at one of the most dedicated players in Aeternum. These titles cannot be bought with Gems and can never be earned through shortcuts.
