Prestige & Mastery

The endgame progression system — what Prestige is, requirements, what resets vs what persists, P1–P5 bonuses, Mastery points, and the Infinity Tower.

What Is Prestige?

Prestige is VvW's endgame reset system. After reaching Level 80 and meeting all requirements, you can choose to Prestige — resetting parts of your character in exchange for powerful permanent bonuses that carry into future playthroughs and stack with each Prestige tier.

There are 5 Prestige tiers (P1 through P5). Each tier has its own requirement threshold and provides escalating permanent bonuses. Reaching P5 unlocks the Grand Prestige title and access to Infinity Tower.

IMPORTANT

Prestige is a significant decision. Read the "What Resets" section carefully before confirming. The game will show a full summary screen before the reset is applied.

Requirements

You must meet all of the following before the Prestige button becomes available:

Prestige TierLevel RequirementAdditional Requirement
P1Level 80Complete D10 at least once
P2Level 80 (after P1)Complete D10 on Mythic+1 or higher
P3Level 80 (after P2)Reach Diamond rank in Arena (2,000+ ELO)
P4Level 80 (after P3)Complete all 10 dungeons on Mythic+2
P5Level 80 (after P4)Reach Grand Legend rank (2,600+ ELO)

What Resets & What Persists

RESETS (LOST ON PRESTIGE)

Character level (returns to 1), all allocated stat points, all gold on your character (gold in Bank is safe), equipped gear (goes to inventory), skill tree progress for this run, current dungeon clear streak.

PERSISTS (KEPT THROUGH PRESTIGE)

Prestige bonus (permanent), all items in inventory & bank, gold in Bank, Auction House listings, clan membership, PvP ELO rank, dungeon tokens, cosmetics, titles, gems, achievements, and all Mastery points earned.

Strategy Note

Before prestiging: deposit all gold in the Bank, sell or store your best gear in inventory (it won't be lost, but you'll level to use it again), and clear any daily quests for the last time at Level 80.

Prestige Tiers (P1–P5)

Each tier permanently unlocks a bonus that applies to all future characters including the current one after reset. Bonuses stack across tiers.

P1 First Awakening

Permanent bonuses: +10% XP gain, +5% gold from all sources, unlock P1 skill Blood Surge (Vampire) or Moon Rage (Werewolf), +1 extra active skill slot (4 total), Prestige glow effect on character name.

P2 Dark Ascension

Permanent bonuses (stacks with P1): +20% XP total, +10% gold total, +5% all stats at character creation, unlock P2 passive Undying Will (survive one killing blow per fight, once per fight).

P3 Eclipse Touched

Permanent bonuses: +30% XP total, +15% gold total, +10% all stats at character creation, unlock P3 active Eclipse Strike (deals 200% weapon damage, ignores 40% DEF), exclusive Eclipse border cosmetic.

P4 Void Walker

Permanent bonuses: +40% XP total, +20% gold total, +15% all stats, +1 active skill slot (5 total), unlock P4 passive Void Adaptation (−15% damage from boss Phase 3 attacks), exclusive Void armor skin.

P5 Grand Prestige

Permanent bonuses: +50% XP total, +25% gold total, +20% all stats, unlock P5 ultimate skill Sovereign's Wrath (once per fight: resets all cooldowns + 500% weapon damage hit), Grand Prestige title, Infinity Tower access, exclusive animated profile frame.

Mastery System

Mastery is a secondary progression layer that runs parallel to Prestige. Mastery points are earned by completing specific actions repeatedly — they never reset and never decrease.

TIP

Dungeon Mastery is the highest-impact mastery to max early — +10% HP is a significant durability boost that helps with future prestige runs and Infinity Tower floors.

Infinity Tower

The Infinity Tower unlocks after reaching Prestige 5. It is an endless dungeon with floors that scale infinitely in difficulty. There is no "completion" — the goal is to reach the highest floor possible and appear on the Infinity Tower leaderboard.

Tower Rules

  • Each floor is a solo fight against a generated boss with scaling stats
  • Every 10 floors, a named Legendary boss appears with a unique ability
  • Your HP does NOT reset between floors — manage it carefully
  • You can use a Recall Stone to exit safely and save your progress
  • Dying ends your current Tower run — no revival
  • Weekly reset: top 10 players on the leaderboard receive gem prizes

Tower Floor Rewards

Floor MilestoneReward
Floor 10Rare item + 200 gold
Floor 25Epic item + 1,000 gold
Floor 50Legendary item + 5,000 gold + exclusive Tower title
Floor 100Mythic-tier item + 20,000 gold + exclusive cosmetic set
Floor 100++500 gold per floor + leaderboard points

Tips for Climbing

  • Max Lifesteal before entering — self-sustain is the key to climbing high floors
  • Use skills with on-crit triggers — floor bosses have no Phase 3 DEF reduction cap, so crits are essential
  • Save your Recall Stone for after every 10-floor milestone reward
  • At floor 50+, prioritize HP over damage — you will die faster than you kill if understatted
