The 5 Steps
Reach prerequisites
Level 20+, 5000g, and a 3-20 character clan name. Tag is 2-4 letters and permanent. Choose carefully — name changes cost 10000g.
Write a mission statement
Define: time zone focus, hours/week expected, content focus (PvE / PvP / casual), voice required Y/N. Pin it in clan info. Sample: 'Casual EU evenings, weekly raid Sat 19:00 UTC, light banter, no drama.'
Establish governance early
Decide loot distribution (council / DKP / free-roll), kick policy, alt rules, alliance stance. Document everything. Re-negotiating at 15 members destroys trust.
