Eclipse War Season Guide 2026 — Objectives, Rewards & Faction Rankings

TL;DR: Eclipse War is the quarterly faction-vs-faction season that rewards the top contributors on both sides. The mechanics favor consistency over burst — daily contributions in 3 categories beat single high-score sessions. This guide covers every objective type, the reward tiers, and a ranking strategy.

What Is Eclipse War?

Eclipse War is a 8-week seasonal event where Vampires and Werewolves compete for control of the Eclipse Nexus — a neutral territory in the center of the Aeternum map. The winning faction unlocks the Nexus Dungeon and receives faction-wide stat bonuses for 4 weeks after the season ends.

Individual contributors earn Eclipse Tokens (currency) and individual rank-based rewards regardless of which faction wins the season.

Three Contribution Pillars

Eclipse War scoring uses three independent contribution tracks:

PillarHow to ScoreDaily CapToken Rate
CombatWin PvP battles vs. opposing faction players50 battles10 tokens/win
Dungeon RaidsComplete Eclipse Rift dungeons (unlock at Season start)5 runs80 tokens/run
CraftingCraft Eclipse-flagged items (marked with moon/blood icon)20 crafts15 tokens/craft

Optimal daily routine: 5 Eclipse Rift runs (400 tokens) + 20 Eclipse crafts (300 tokens) + 30 PvP wins (300 tokens) = 1,000 tokens/day. Over 8 weeks: 56,000 tokens — enough for rank S (Top 50) if maintained consistently.

Eclipse Rift Dungeons

The Eclipse Rift is a special dungeon variant exclusive to the season. It has 3 difficulty tiers:

Eclipse Shards drop from regular dungeons and PvP wins during the season — you'll accumulate them naturally through daily play.

Faction Contribution vs. Individual Ranking

These are separate systems. Faction contribution determines which faction wins the season (and gets the Nexus Dungeon access). Individual ranking determines your personal rewards. You can rank A individually even if your faction loses the season.

However: the winning faction gets a 25% token bonus for 2 weeks after the season — which compounds into higher individual scores in subsequent seasons. Long-term, helping your faction win is worth it.

RANKING STRATEGY

The first 2 weeks of Eclipse War have the lowest competition. Players who hit their daily cap in Week 1 and 2 accumulate a token lead that most latecomers cannot close. Start strong — don't save your effort for the final week.

Weekly Objectives Bonus

Each week has 3 rotating Weekly Objectives that grant bonus tokens when completed:

Completing all 3 weekly objectives adds 6,500 bonus tokens per week, or 52,000 over 8 weeks — nearly a full S-rank threshold on its own.

Conclusion

Eclipse War rewards consistent daily players over sporadic high-effort sessions. Hit your daily caps in all 3 pillars, complete weekly objectives, and start strong in Week 1. With this approach, rank A (Top 100) is achievable for any Level 60+ player within the 8-week window.
