Before You Start
- A working email address you can access
- A username in mind (3–20 characters, can include letters, numbers, and underscores)
- Note: usernames cannot be changed after registration
Step 1: Go to the Register Page
Navigate to /register or click the "Play Free" button in the top navigation. The registration form will load immediately — no account required to view it.
💡 Google Sign-In Available
You can also register using your Google account by clicking "Continue with Google." This skips the email verification step and lets you log in with Google's 2FA instead of setting up a separate password.
Step 2: Choose Your Username
Your username is your permanent in-game identity. It appears on the leaderboards, in chat, and in PvP battle reports. Choose carefully:
- 3–20 characters
- Letters (a-z, A-Z), numbers (0-9), and underscores (_) only
- No spaces or special characters
- Must be unique across all players
- Cannot be changed after account creation
The form will check availability in real time — a green checkmark appears when your username is available.
Step 3: Enter Your Email Address
Use a real email address you can access. VvW sends:
- A verification email immediately after registration (required)
- Password reset emails if you ever forget your password
- Optional: weekly game updates and Blood Moon event notifications
Step 4: Create a Strong Password
Minimum requirements: 8 characters. Recommended: 12+ characters with mixed case, numbers, and at least one symbol. The password strength meter updates as you type.
⚠️ Security Note
Do not reuse a password from another game or service. VvW accounts with valuable characters are targeted by credential-stuffing attacks. A unique password + 2FA (Step 6) is your best protection.
Step 5: Verify Your Email
After submitting the form, check your inbox for an email from noreply@vvwgame.com. Click the verification link. The link expires after 24 hours — if it expires, log in and request a new one from Account Settings.
If you don't see the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder. Add noreply@vvwgame.com to your contacts to prevent future emails from being filtered.
Step 6: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (Recommended)
After your first login, go to Account Settings → Security → Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password). Save your backup codes somewhere safe.
2FA is not required but strongly recommended. Accounts with 2FA are eligible for account recovery if compromised; accounts without 2FA are not.
Step 7: Choose Your Race
