How to Write a Lore Submission

Quick answer: Submit fan lore via /community/lore-submissions.html for editorial review. Length: 800-3000 words. Must align with canonical Five Houses + Five Clans + Iron Treaty framework. Review takes 4-8 weeks. Accepted submissions appear in-game as codex entries with author byline credit.

The 5 Steps

1

Read the canon first

Study /lore.html, /pillar/aeternum-lore.html, and at least 5 in-game codex entries. Submissions that contradict canon are rejected.

2

Pick a topic with editorial gap

Suggested gaps (2026): minor noble lineages, side-zone village histories, individual NPC personal stories. Don't write about Lunara directly (high-bar).

3

Match the canonical voice

Third-person, past-tense for historical events. Present-tense for ongoing politics. Cite in-game NPCs/locations. Avoid modern slang.

4

Submit via the form

/community/lore-submissions.html. Include title, your community handle, faction (if relevant), 800-3000 word submission. We respond within 4-8 weeks.

5

Accepted submissions

Become canonical codex entries. Author byline credit (your handle). Cosmetic title 'Loremaster' awarded. No monetary compensation but enduring credit.
